#PivotPhl Part 3

I have been a runner for the last ten years. Consistency with my running schedule was always a problem because of my lifestyle, work schedule, seasons etc. Once COVID shut the world down, running was my one opportunity to get out and see other faces on the trail. I became a very consistent runner, became a morning person to beat the heat during those summer days. Anybody who knows me knows that I am not a morning person. My pace got faster and then one day I found out that one of the running groups in town was back to group runs. For the first time in my life I joined a running group. I have made a great set of new friends, ran more races in a single year than the rest of my life and got a few PRs. I would say COVID was a blessing in disguise as it gave me more focus on my running and helped me get passionate about something new.
